Malvasía

One vine, one hole, one wall.

In La Geria every vine lives alone at the bottom of its own crater, behind a half moon of stones. The grape is malvasía volcánica. We took the skin of the grape, the milk of the fig leaf and the dust on both.

Size

The bottle

Heavy clear glass with a 17 mm floor, a brass collar and a cap cut from basalt gathered in the vineyards. Every stone is different, so every bottle weighs a little differently.

Refills

Bring or post the bottle back to La Casa and we refill it for 40% less than a new one. We keep the stone.

Delivery

Across Europe in three to five days, in a box pressed from vine prunings. Free over €150.

Where it sits

Stratum II, between 18 and 36 ml of every Malpaís.

Malvasía is poured second into the signature, in the order the island was made. Here it is lit, with the other four dimmed around it.
